10 Days Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari /Mombasa Beach Vacation

We pick you from your hotel/resident in Nairobi and drive through picturesque Rift Valley drive to Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake in the Rift Valley, renowned for its spectacular flamingo population as one of the world’s greatest ornithological spectacles. Although Lake Nakuru is primarily a bird sanctuary, there are a considerable number of animals to be encountered, such as many large game animals such as zebras, elephants and gazelles, this is one of our best chances of seeing rhinos. Lake Nakuru National Park was the first place in Kenya selected as a rhino reserve. Here is one of the few places where we can see Rothschild’s giraffes. Dinner and Overnight at Sarova Lion Hills

DAY 2: LAKE NAKURU- LAKE NAIVASHA.

This morning we you drive to Lake Naivasha situated at an altitude of 1884 meters, Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya located around 80 kilometers southeast of Nakuru and near the town of Naivasha (formerly East Nakuru). The lake is part of the Great Rift Valley and its name comes from the Maasai word, Nai’posha – which translates as “rough water” – on account of the storms that can suddenly arise here. This vast lake is surrounded by a swampland and fringed by papyrus plants. Among the residents of the lake are over 400 species of birds, including fish eagles, ospreys, lily-trotters, black crakes, and herons, and it’s also home to a large community of hippos. A number of other mammals are also drawn here and it’s not uncommon to see zebra, impala, buffalo, giraffe, and kongoni grazing in the areas surrounding the lake. After boat ride drive to Sopa lodge for lunch. Afternoon you have a chance to have hike in Hell’s Gate / Or a walk in the Crescent Island and  return to Lake Naivasha Sopa for the dinner and overnight )

DAY 3: LAKE NAIVASHA—MASAI MARA

This morning we you drive from Lake Naivasha climbing the Mau escarpments through the savannah grassland to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and is home of the Big Five: Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. Lunch at our Lodge and relax before departing for the afternoon game run. The Mara Game Reserve–one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park’s are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson’s and grants Gazelles. DAY 4: DISCOVER MASAI MARA.

Today we shall be criss-crossing the endless Savannah following the great herds. The search for great predators and perhaps even cubs continues throughout these days during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. 27TH MARCH MASAI MARA- NAIROBI.

Early morning tea / coffee or Hot chocolate, then depart for a morning game drive. Here we find the Old Africa of the movies, with rolling grasslands dotted by acacia trees and sweeping plains teeming with wildlife. No matter how much you have thought about Africa, this is more than you expected. After a full English breakfast back at the camp or Lodge, depart by road to Nairobi and drop off at your residence. Masai Mara
  • Day 1: Nairobi/Masai Mara Pick up from your hotel in Nairobi at 8.00 am and head southward to the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley. Continue to Narok a small Masaai town then to Masaai Mara for lunch followed by afternoon game viewing to see the many animals that inhabit this unique park. Dinner and overnight adventure camping.
  • Day 2: Masai Mara After breakfast spend full day game drives, explore the parks amazingly high concentration of game. This game reserve is Kenya’s finest wildlife sanctuary including migrants, well over 450 species of animals have been recorded here although July, August and September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeest and zebra, there is also resident wildlife year round. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the game reserve lunch is served at the picnic site in the park. Dinner and overnight adventure camping.
  • Day 3: Masai Mara Balloon Safari/Nairobi Wake up call at 5:30am,have a hot cup of coffee and then proceed to the departure point. As you approach the site, the balloon seems bigger than you expected, the experience is one that has never   been visited, and you are about to have a trip of a lifetime. Wallowing in the free abundant air above the thicket.This normally takes 1.5hrs.On touching the ground champagne breakfast is served, as hot breakfast in the bush is being prepared. Then our driver will pick you up after the breakfast and proceed to the Lodge or camp as you enjoy your final game drive  to check out as you proceed back to Nairobi.
